Fans of rich, savory flavors will also delight in the Carne Guisada Taco smothered in luscious brown gravy, a dish praised by regulars for its hearty goodness.

If you’re visiting for breakfast, the selection is impressively varied and wallet-friendly. Classic plates such as Huevo Ranchero served with a steaming cup of coffee, Machacado, Chorizo, and the crispy, tangy Chilaquiles cater perfectly to those wanting a fulfilling start to the day. Those seeking a larger meal can indulge in the Monster Plates, which offer downsized versions of favorites like Migas, Chorizo & Egg, and Bacon & Egg, all brimming with fresh, bold flavors and perfectly seasoned eggs.

The genuine hospitality and the care put into every dish quickly transform this small cafe into a familiar and cozy gathering spot. As one loyal patron, Denise R., put it — the tortillas may be a bit thin, but the food’s quality, inviting environment, and heartfelt service make Arturo’s a memorable dining experience worth returning for.

The food is good. We found our new favorite carne guisada with brown gravy. The regular tortillas are a little on the thin side and usually fall apart when eating a taco. Overall the food is good, the place is clean and the staff is nice. It’s small, but cozy.

Buyer beware. Prices are up. I paid $14.06 for one monster carne guisada with cheese. Worth it because I had just gotten paid and wanted to try out this place.
